Setting up the proxy server using a Macintosh

You must first contact the library (Angela Ledger, x5-5460) to have a proxy server account created before following these steps.

Within Safari
1. System Preferences
2. Advanced
3. Proxies
4. Change Settings
5. System – (Enter proxy settings: 155.58.87.88 as the proxy server & 3128 as the port)

Or From the Apple Menu
1. Apple Menu
2. System Preferences
3. Network
4. Proxies (Enter proxy settings: 155.58.87.88 as the proxy server & 3128 as the port)

Or Within FireFox
1. Preferences (Enter proxy settings: 155.58.87.88 as the proxy server & 3128 as the port)

To double check your setting
Network Control
Click on (Connections)
Click on Proxies
Click on web proxy
Choose web server
Enter userid/password
Apply setting
Enter 155.58.87.88 as the proxy server & 3128 as the port

Files will open in the browser – Use the save button & not save file via browser

To disconnect:
Click on Network Setting
Deselect web proxy
