About the Library

Mission: The LSUHSC Library’s mission is to equip users with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively utilize biomedical information resources. The library provides expertise in information management to advance the institutional goals of instruction, clinical care, research, and knowledge-based regional economic development. In addition, the library serves as a health information resource for the community.
